I have a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science and am a member of the Royal Agricultural University. I am also a member of the Nutrition Society to ensure that I am up to date with the latest research and advances in equine nutrition.
Horses have been a lifelong passion and I have almost 40 years’ experience of riding and owning horses for both competition and pleasure. In a professional capacity, I have given guest lectures to university degree students, talks to riding clubs and yards and have written articles for national magazines.
I am a fully qualified and insured U.K. based Independent Equine Nutritionist.
Why choose an independent nutritionist?
I provide professional and unbiased advice, selecting the feeds on the market that are most suitable for your horse. There are an array of feeds and supplements available from a wide range of manufacturers encompassing every life stage and requirement. Although beneficial, this can make it difficult to decide which products are best suited and are going to provide your horse(s) with a nutritious, balanced diet to promote optimum health, performance and wellbeing.
I advocate the feeding of horses as naturally as possible, to fulfil their behavioural and physical needs as well as providing sufficient energy and nutrient requirements to aid optimal performance without compromising general health.
